After 2000 years away, we are still back baby!!!!!
The day fade spot will be towards the northern entrance of Charles Chalore Park! We are also starting at 16:00, as many have expressed that 14:00 will be too hot.
The Day Fade outdoor festival is DIY. We will have a loud speaker with a rotating DJ. Aside from that, whatever we have is what we bring.
Some members of the community expressed interest in BBQing and bringing alcohol. Sharing is caring, please bring cups, plates and snacks, drinks and kosher food.
Please bring picnic and outdoor games, blankets, frisbees and other park activities. The more we bring the better the gathering.
This year's afternoon day fade party is DIY festival at Charles Chlore park! BYOB (both booze and BBQ). Members of the community are welcome to bring BBQ or drinks to share or sell. Music will fill the air as we enjoy sunlight, the outdoors and 75 years of independence!
About Yom Ha'atzmaut:
Israeli Independence Day, celebrates the establishment of the State of Israel in 1948. Coming on the heals of Yom HaZikaron, Yom Ha'atzmaut is celebrated in Israel and around the world with dancing, fireworks, parties and the ubiquitous "mangal," or Israeli style barbecue. Many religious denominations will add special celebratory prayers to the weekday liturgy.
About Kerem House:
Kerem House is a community-led cultural space in the heart of Tel Aviv, organised by young people who wish to create a vibrant Jewish community, for themselves and for their peers. Since its establishment, Kerem House has fed and hosted over 3,000 Israelis, olim and visitors over the course of 300+ Shabbat dinners, holiday meals and a variety of communal events and activities.
