It's hard to understand who we really are: what we want, how we feel and why we react as we do. This lack of self-knowledge can be trouble, for it makes us get into the wrong relationships, pick unsatisfactory jobs or spend money unwisely. No wonder Socrates summed up all the counsel of philosophy in just two words: 'Know Yourself'.

Aitor has gotten into many of those troubles in his life. He suffered the consequences of not knowing yourself so much. He is also honest and genuine and knows how to create and atmosphere where we can all share openly without judgment. 

To help you reflect on yourself, he will be using a set of cards published by The School of Life, an organization co-founded by modern-day philosopher Alain de Botton.

These cards are designed to assist us in a journey of self-knowledge; they present us with a range of ideas and questions that can help us to understand ourselves better. Each card carries an exercise on one side and a piece of analysis on the reverse to help you gain insight and clarity on that ever-elusive subject: yourself.

About Aitor:

Aitor, originally from Spain, works in investment and moonlights as a school of life coach.

About Kerem House:

Kerem House is a community-led cultural space in the heart of Tel Aviv, organised by young people who wish to create a vibrant Jewish community, for themselves and for their peers. Since its establishment, Kerem House has fed and hosted over 3,000 Israelis, olim and visitors over the course of 300+ Shabbat dinners, holiday meals and a variety of communal events and activities.
