6:30pm - 7:30pm
We'll sweat and stretch in this Pilates based workout focused on increasing strength and flexibility. Building from the Pilates base, we'll do some additional stretching and work on balance, flow and range of motion. I'll offer demonstrations, adaptations, feedback and corrections throughout. Completely accessible for beginners, everyone is guaranteed to sweat!
For class: Bring water and a yoga mat or towel. Come with sneakers. You may choose to work in them or barefoot.
Learn the language and build the foundation you need to enjoy dancing! With a small class size you'll have the time and receive the attention you need to "get it" and have fun with it. The teaching and material are intro level, the energy is high level!
Marcie is a modern dancer, performing and choreographing with ThisBody (www.thisbody.com), a Brooklyn based dance collective. This fitness class is modeled on her own training and practice, combining pilates, barre, modern and ballet techniques.
