About Hitorerut Yerushalayim: HItorerut Yerushalayim / The Awakening movement was founded in 2008 by a group of young Jerusalemites, secular and religious, led by Ofer Berkowitz. This is with the aim of promoting the young and creative population of Jerusalem and strengthening it as a "pluralistic and productive Zionist city". Soon she ran in the local elections in 2008 on a joint list with the Jerusalem faction led by Rachel Azaria. The joint movement won two mandates. Each of the lists won one mandate, with the representatives of Evetarat in the council being Ofer Berkovich and Meriv Cohen who changed in a rotation arrangement.
About Kerem House:
Kerem House is a community-led cultural space in the heart of Tel Aviv, organized by young people who wish to create a vibrant Jewish community, for themselves and for their peers. Since its establishment, Kerem House has fed and hosted over 6,000 Israelis, olim and visitors over the course of 500+ Shabbat dinners, holiday meals and a variety of communal events and activities.
